What is the best time to trek in Nepal?

October–November for crystal clear skies and dry trails. March–April for rhododendron blooms. Upper Mustang and Dolpo are best June–August (rain shadow). We advise against major high passes in monsoon (June–September) and deep winter (December–February).

Do I need prior trekking experience?

For most classic treks (EBC, Annapurna Circuit, Langtang), reasonable fitness and a positive attitude are enough. No technical climbing skills needed. Peak climbing expeditions require prior high-altitude experience. We assess every client's fitness before recommending a route.

What permits do I need?

All permits are included in our packages. Depending on your route: TIMS card, Sagarmatha/Annapurna/Langtang National Park entry, and for restricted areas (Mustang, Dolpo), a restricted area permit. We handle all paperwork.

Is altitude sickness a serious risk?

AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) affects around 30% of trekkers above 3,500m. Our itineraries include proper acclimatisation days. Our guides carry pulse oximeters and supplemental oxygen. We have never had a preventable altitude emergency in 12 years of operation.

What is included in the trek price?

All our packages include: experienced licensed guide, all accommodation during the trek, three meals per day on trail, all necessary permits, airport transfers in Kathmandu, emergency first aid kit, and a detailed route map and digital itinerary.
